{"id":144,"date":"2008-07-22T18:34:00","date_gmt":"2008-07-23T01:34:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wog.ihoby.com\/?p=144"},"modified":"2008-07-22T18:34:00","modified_gmt":"2008-07-23T01:34:00","slug":"congress-org-support-another-middle-class-tax-rebate-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wog.ihoby.com\/?p=144","title":{"rendered":"Congress.org &#8211; Support Another Middle Class Tax Rebate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t<\/p>\n<div xmlns='http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1999\/xhtml'>I am writing to you about the proposed economic stimulas package being considered in the Senate Appropriations Committee this week.<\/p>\n<p>I support the economic stimulas package, especially any tax rebate for middle class taxpayers.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;d especially support any legislation that DIVERTS subsidies intended for ultra-rich corporations (esp. oil, ethanol, nuclear, war contr. etc.) and instead, puts that money into the pockets of Americans who actually NEED those subsidies.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;middle class&#8221; is now the &#8220;working class&#8221;, which is a politically correct way of saying &#8220;working poor&#8221;. We are not having record years of massive profits like these subsidy-subsuming corporate giants..<\/p>\n<p>Government&#8217;s purpose is to care for its citizens.
